Harming the Ocean Life

        Findings show that protecting the beauty of the sea life is very important in the ocean ecosystem.  Trash and other debris have been proven to destroy sea life.  The researcher will prove that humans are responsible for most of the ocean pollution.  This fact of humans being responsible will have a humongous impact on the future of the ocean ecosystem. Therefore studies show that saving the sea life now will help prevent the extinction of animals in the ocean.       

          First, human’s effect, researches shows that 80% of plastic comes from land and that is caused by humans that just leave their trash completely over the places. One chemical is nitrogen emissions because of fertilizer use and the burning of fossil fuels. Besides nitrogen some other toxins like sunscreen that breaks into the waters, then goes into the coral, also Toxic algal blooms are bad enough on the ocean surface, now it turns out that the toxin in them sinks to the ocean floor that’s where it persists for weeks. The neurotoxin that causes shellfish poisoning, demonic acid sinks to the ocean floor and could poison marine mammals, birds and humans. Therefore all of these chemicals accumulate in these animals bodies which creates the toxins much more concentrated in the surrounding waters.

        Secondly, how the pollutions kills our marine animals. The pollution has an serious impact on both sea turtles and what they eat. The turtles mistake the plastic or other trash as food then the turtles choke on them and they suffocate then die. Every year about 100 million marine animals are killed due to ocean pollution because like I said before 80% of the plastic comes for land. Lastly, the seals get caught into nets or suffer oil spills even turtles and all the plastic, rope, nets, and chemicals kill the coral which give the fish oxygen. But if it’s all damaged then the fish and other marine animals are breathing bad things and there is no more oxygen.

        Finally, our ecosystem, the Marine ecosystems are a part of the largest aquatic system on the planet It covering over 70% of the Earth's surface. The habitats that make up this vast system range from the productive near shore regions to the barren ocean floor. The Coral reefs are fragile, living ecosystems increasingly being threatened and damaged by pollution, disease and habitat destruction. So basically our ecosystem with the ocean is a big part of our world because with of them we have nothing no food no, no surfing and the ocean will just be destroyed.

         In conclusion studies show that saving our sea life now it will prevent extinction of our seal live in the future. So the findings show that our ocean is beautiful and it is a nice place but if we don’t start taking care now then we will have no more. Therefore all in all our ocean takes care of us by provides us food, etc. so please take care of the things that take care of you and make a change.

      RING, RING, RING as I hear the alarm on my phone go off at 3 in the morning. The first day of the bottum fiahing law that oppend up. As we drove to my uncles house I imagine how the day will be. When I got there my uncle said happy 4 th of july as i never relized it was that day. As we drove off to the harbor I can see all these other boat just passing us. Soon enought we finally got to the harbor where there is a whole load of boats there. So as soon as we got ther we went stright out to the bottoum fish spot. When i am on the boat i always think that What would happen if we sunk, getr thrown over board by my devies uncle, or even get hooked by one of the hooks. Where at the spot.. We drop down our line .. Wait five minutes no bites.. go about 20 more time no bites so we look at each other like where are the fish . So my uncle said nbeacuse it is still early in the morning and no bite we shall go trolling. Then I SCREAM ... When we go trolling we alway go and try for the big boys. So as we put our lines out we go trolling for about 5 minuets and suddently my uncle say "hook up " so I scramble to the pole and crank the fish in as fast as I can. the we finally get it in and its a nice size ono. After all the hard work my uncle askes me Ryan how does it feel to be on the boat. Then i tell him unclefishing is way better than baseball and i would skip baseball just to come fishing. So he says Ryan i feel really good today and that we are going to catch the big fish today. So we set our lines out again the suddently BOOM  as the corrner pole goes off so then my brother Troy scrambled to the pole oand reeled in the fish like it weight a 1lbs soon enought it was another nice size ono. 12pm  2 onos and time to go and eat our nice broke the mouth kine bentos from my grandmas house. So we set out lines out and eat . So we drive around for another hour and my dad say to my uncle we go bring in the lines and bring the 12 inch lure out. so was we swich gears my dad gets some blood from the fish that sits in the cooler as the sweet smell of dead fish flows threw the boat. so we toss the line out at 1 and then the magic of the fish blood begins BANG.. As we see one othe pole gets hit by the fish and the fish jumps and it a gigantic marlin so as i get up on to the top of the boat it a nice veiw. then my uncle says ryan come down and fight the fish and i went down i couldent even move the reel and my uncle say you are a girl and i just scream at him i am only 9 years old. so i went to go sleep  because the sea waves made me sick so about 4 and a half hours after i get up and i see the huge mariln come into the boat. WOW AS MY EYES OPEN BIG..  So we went in the harbor as fast as we could and as we got there we put it on the scae and it came out to be a weight that i will never for get 827lbs . That day was never forgotten. As we wash up i always tell my dad. DAD the boat is the place i can be my slef and have fun. also the best time to reliza that waitting and waitting will turn out to be good. i also said the boat is the place to be and for me to explore the ocean. then he replys saying the both you and i love the boat and the ocean. Final out come 2 onos both came out to be 45 lbs, then the grand prize 827lbs marlin the day that will never be forgotten.

            My mom and uncle had a shop called “Good Deal Market”. Their Lau Lau was one of the best on the island. The shop opened on January 15, 2000. This shop was thought of by my mom. She thought of it by  always making the pre frozen ones. then she told me i am going to open up a lau lau shop. once she said "open a lau lau shop" i yelled on the top of my lungs saying "oh yeah baby". As I walked into the shop I could smell the goodness of all the ingredients mixing together. My mom’s ingredients was pork butt, tea leaf, and butter fish. 

             She started by placing 5 tea leaf down into a star shape then places 5 pieces of pork butt in the middle and one piece if butter fish, then wraps it into a triangular shape. My grandma always use to take us to the shop to eat. As I ate my mom yells “who ate two of my Lau Lau?!”  Then I would always blame it on my brother Troy. My Mom and her shop was always crowded with al lot of people every time i would go there after School i always have to yell " Hey People LEt me in or i will beat you up"…. then there reply was… " oh i am sorry"… that's when i was only 5 years old. My Mom worked really hard and then when i wanted to help her she would always push me into the big freezer .."grrrrrr" as my teeth would always shiver… Then i will always cry. then once my mom heard me cry she open the door then i would throw meat at her. She would always take care of me and let me and my brother do anything, from playing hide and seek, too knocking down my moms pots and pans.

             This dish was always asked to be made from family members.  This dish was a family favorite from the pot to the dinner table. My Mom always like to make this dish no matter how much time it takes she always stops and make her laulau. This dish was really good i always use to eat a lot when i saw this dish on the table. we all loved it.
